Music classes are off to a wonderful start for the 2012-2013 school year. Students have music four times a week, Monday-Thursday, and are currently working on our music elements unit. They are able to identify beat, rhythm, melody, harmony, and form through listening, moving, singing, playing, reading, and creating.
Classes are able to earn a 10 minute dance party if they earn a certain number of points. They can earn those points by being safe, responsible, and respectful. Individual students are rewarded with Good Citizen Tickets for their good behavior. Also, students who go above and beyond the music expectations can be chosen to be the Rock Star of the Week and get to be the special helper.
